S. M. Extrusions Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company manufacturing extruded PVC profiles. Existing product range includes PVC eliminators, louvers, frames for eliminators / louvers, diffusers and PVC profiles for custom requirements.

Established in 1993 by two technocrats, now with over 25 years’ experience in the field of polymer extrusion and textile humidification, we are in a position to cater to any customer’s tailor made requirements for polymer extrusion.

We are equipped with the best in the extrusion machines. Our products are made on two lines of twin screw extruders of Kabra ExtrusionTechnik (having technical collaboration with Battenfeld of Germany – a world leader in extrusion machinery) and a line with single screw extruder with all required downstream equipments. We also have a high-speed mixer made by Neoplast Engineering (another leader in PVC compounding technology).

Anyone who is conversant with tool / die making will know about difficulties in balancing flow of polymers (especially PVC) through the die. Flow of molten polymers through a die is not very well understood and most of the tool makers try to balance the flow by intuition which results in a lot of costly and time-consuming trial error procedures. To overcome this problem, we have invested in a flow balancing software Flow 2000 of Compuplast of Canada at a cost of Rs. 1.5 million. Equipped with these tools, we are in a position to provide tailor made extruded products with in-house tool making for any type of polymer.

We have a complete range of eliminators, louvers and diffusers for humidification, ventilation, air cooling and air washing applications for textile, cement, power, coal and many other diverse industries. We have developed PVC based frames for eliminators and louvers where all load-bearing M.S. material is fully encased by PVC. This eliminates need for costly surface treatment processes like hot dipped galvanizing while providing a long, trouble-free life.
